Black/white & One Other Color

Today is a sad day at OSAAT.  Our creator Crafty Chaos has decided to leave us as a creator, but the good news is she'll still be a dt member!  Also Sam, who helped Stitchy start the challenge blog has decided to leave us and she will be missed dearly by everyone.  Stitchy, Liz and I decided to make cards for Sam and we used Susan's (Crafty Chaos) papers to do it.  This is our tribute to them both.
Sam this card is for you!

Ok now onto the details of the card.  I used a background sheet from Crafty Chaos's Alice paper pack.  The image is watching you from Stitchy Stamps.  You can get them at stitchybearstamps.  You can enter the challenge at OSAAT.

The challenge is black, white and one other color.  The winner will get 3 digi's of choice from the Stitchy bear stamps store.

Just a reminder that this is the last week for the July sale!

Seeing Double and Sale

Ok another jewelry box for my middle daughter this time.  Taylor (the middle one) had her say in how it was done.  I have used Hope Jacare's Butterfly stamp. You can get the stamp at the stitchy bear stamps store.  This is really plain for me.  All I did was add flowers and a ribbon which you can see in the next picture.  This is how she wanted it done.

There's the ribbon.

Challenges I'm entering with this project are......

http://ilovedigichallenge.blogspot.com/  anything but a card

 On to the next project...........

Yes you are seeing double.   I made these two slightly off identical cards for Father's Day using Stampin Dragon's Gentle Wave Paper Pack and her Dad Sentiment 1 Pack which can both be purchased at the store.

Celebration

Over at OSAAT this week the theme is Celebrations.  All the creators did up new stamps for this challenge.  I had the pleasure of using Lil Diva's new Goth Bride stamp that can be purchased at Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I colored the image in with psp.  I then glittered the dress to make it stand out a bit.  i used handmade and mulberry paper.  I used heart stickers and paper flowers.  I added a sticker sentiment and this was the result. i am pleased with it.  i just hope Lil Diva is also.
If you want to play along, all you have to do is head to the challenge blog and you know the rest.  Sorry if I don't seem myself.  I have a massive headache  but wanted this posted on time.

***A little added bonus to our prize this week***
Anyone caught using one of our
NEW RELEASE STAMPS
Will also receive one FREE product of choice
(for equal or lesser value)
from the very same creator that they are using
for our challenge!!!

Time once again...........

First off, let me start by saying WOW 162 entries in last weeks challenge!  Keep them coming!  WE love seeing them all.  So many great projects and so many great blogs.

Now with that said, this week over at http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.com/ is Boy to Men.  Easy peasy right. It can be anything for a boy or a man.  Here is my project........ ( I really don't like it that much, but it was a rush job)

This image is from Angela at http://shop.sewmanycards.com/main.sc.  Go take a look at all her wonderful images!  SewnTogether is sponsoring OSAAT this week and giving the winner 5 digital images of their choice!  Now how does that sound?   Morty Fishing is colored with color pencils and oms.  I added a green paper ribbon to add a little something so it wasn't too plain.  I only have myself to blame for having to rush to do it.  3 kids, sports, a messed up school schedule, etc aren't excuses!

I am also entering into the following challenges........

Something New At OSAAT

It's time once again for another OSAAT challenge.  This week is use something new!  Speaking of something new, Stitchy and Sassy have started a new forum and you can find it here............ http://ididitcreations.com/forum/index.php Go on over and join.  Our official opening is tomorrow, May 31st!  Now it is still under contruction, so please excuse the dust.  Also we are having a big party on June 11th, so come check it out.

This week the prize for the challenge blog  will be 3 digi's of the winner's choice from http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/.  So this week I had the pleasure of using one of Stampin Dragon's designs.
Before I show you my project, let me tell you a little about why I chose what I chose this week.  My mom makes jewelry.  (You can see her work if you click on Janice at the top of my page.) She has made my girls some nice jewelry.  Well the 9 yr old and 11 yr old still break things and are very irresponsible.  So they don't have jewelry boxes.  I decided to make them one.  So this week I bought the 9 yr old a paper mache jewelry box.  I decided I was going to decorate it as my DT project this week since it was something new.  I let Brooke (the 9 yr old) pick out her image she wanted on the box.  She picked Tommy Tortoise Stamp which can be purchased HERE along with other wonderful creators digi's and papers.

Materials used were as followed...........
paper mache jewelry box (ebay)
green paper
polka dot paper
lace
flowers
metal letter embellishment
glitter glue
gems
color pencils
oms

I am entering this into the following challenges............
http://www.charismacardz.blogspot.com/ -  circles (my polka dots)
http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/ - make someone smile or cheer them up
http://polkadoodle.blogspot.com/ - sew sew (my paper has what looks like stitches on it)
http://colordare.blogspot.com/ - use color combo provided
http://pixieduststudiopixiechallenge.blogspot.com/ - round & round (polka dots on my paper)

Furry friends

Once again it's time for another new challenge over at OSAAT.  This week's theme is furry friends.  All you have to do is use an animal anywhere on your creation.  That's easy enough right?  This week we not only have 3 digi's for the winner but we also have a pack of promarkers too.  How does that sound?

Well this week I had the pleasure of using another one of Stitchy's wonderful stamps.  I used her Ole Gray Mare stamp that can be purchased HERE along with other wonderful stamps, some wonderful papers and some wonderful gift boxes.  Don't forget the half off sale is still going on til the end of the month.  Here's my creation....

I made another wall decor for my living room.  This time I used an unpainted wooden board.  I spray painted it with gold webbing.  I colored the image with my color pencils and OMS.  I cut the image out in and oval shape and let my daughter ink around the edges.  I then glued it to the board.  I added a beads on a ribbon and made a bow.  I added some stars so it didn't look so plain.  I then added lace around the edge of th whole thing.  All in all I like the way it turned out and the best part is my living room decor is really all craft related.  Some of it is mine and some of it is made by other people.

Now it's your turn to create something for the challenge.  Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

I am also entering this into the following challenges............

Anything But A Card At OSAAT

This week's challenge over at OSAAT is sponsored by http://glitterbabesartshop.blogspot.com/ and it's Anything but a card.  How fun is that?  We all got to pick one of Stef's stamps to work with.  I chose Hey Froggy of course!  I decided to alter a book.
This is the front of the book.  I haven't added a sentiment, as I'm not sure what I will do with the book just yet.  I colored the digi in and mounted him on a stitching pattern I did up.  I inked all over that to give it an old worn look.  I used yellow and orange mulberry paper also.
Now I flipped the book over..........but not the way you think!  Ever get a magazine that you read half one way and had to flip it over and upside down to read the rest from back to front?  Well that's sort of  what I did.  Again I used Hey Froggy.
Now this side was inked a little.  I mounted this digi on acetate.  It's amazing how a plain book went to this from this...........

Come on over to OSAAT and join in the challenge.  It'll be fun.  The winner gets 3 digi's of their choice from http://glitterbabesartshop.blogspot.com/.  Why not go take a peek at the digi's.........you know you want to!

New Challenge at OSAAT

Today starts the new challenge over at OSAAT and it's Polka Dots. We also have a surprise for one lucky winner this week.    You not only get a GDS and 3 digi's of your choice from the store, you also get to choose 7 Pro-Markers of your choice from........... Well now you'll just have to go to the challenge blog to find out!

I had the pleasure of using Beary Dust's Umbrella Bear this week.  You can get her digi's and more HERE.

I did a window card.  I cut the inside of the card out myself.  I hung the image with a jump ring.  I colored the oh so cute bear with my color pencils and oms.  I used polka dot paper that I had.  I added peel off borders around the whole card.  I added glass flower beads and leaves in each corner.  Inside, I used vellum paper.

This is just a side view of the car so you can see the bear hang.

I have to say you all blew me away last week with the amount of entries the challenge blog had!  I am not use to being on a team that gets so many entries.  I am thrilled to see you all supporting the creators and dt members over at OSAAT.   My first challenge over at OSAAT is... yep you guessed it......Cards for  children.  This week our sponsor is SEWNTogether.  The winner of the challenge this week will get 5 digi's  of choice.  Wow 5!
On to my challenge project for this week.  I chose to do a card for a friend's baby boy.  I just adore him.
The image I chose to use is Bear in Wagon.  I just love this image.  He's colored in with color pencils and oms.  The sentiment and borders are peel offs.  I personalized the card by adding JAIDEN with peel off letters also.
Well what are you waiting for?  Get on over to OSAAT and add your project.  Remember you won't have a chance to win if you don't enter.  After adding your entry, why not take a tour of the dt's blogs.  There are some really good creations this week!
