One Stitch At A Time has a very special challenge for you this week...We are challenging you to make a special "Rainbow Themed" card - Anything goes type of challenge, but must have a rainbow or the colors of a rainbow in your creation.  The reason for this Rainbow challenge is in honor of a very special little guy named Cameron.  If you click on the badge below, you can read his story...

A little History and the reason for this Super Challenge this week...
A very very good friend of Stitchy's who is known in the digital world by the name  "FUNKY" , has built a beautiful fundraiser blog for her grandson Cameron..He is autistic and Funky and her daughter are striving to help Cameron..
Some of you may know Funky, she has been in the digital scrapping world for a very long time.  If  you could find it in your heart to help Funky and her little guy out, it will not go unrewarded.  We know times are very hard for everyone right now, so if you can't give even a dollar, please don't feel bad, but please do go and read his story, he's quite a character lol..Thank you in advance all that take part in this very special challenge - have fun & good luck!!!

Notebook for a challenge

Stitchy made a new tulip stamp.  Well seeing as how I love tulips, I had to play with it.
You can get this stamp and a bunch more over at http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/ from a bunch of great creators and right now on sale too!  Thanks for the stamp Stitchy!  I made the background paper myself.  The  digi is colored in with color pencil and oms,  I added a glitter frame.  I also used peel offs.

This challenge also qualifies for the following challenges......

More Notebooks

When I posted my purple and black notebook, Stitchy asked me to make her one.  She made the stamp she wanted on it, and the patterned paper.  Oh yeah and the saying too!  So I made it up for her.
Once I made it, she decided it wasn't her style lol.  So I told her I'd do another.  (She loves to change her mind a lot.  No wonder we get along so well!)
Now this is more her style.  Note to self....... wait a day or two for Stitchy to change her mind LOL.  I actually enjoyed making them both and am sending her BOTH.

I'm entering these into the following challenges also......

Crafty Creations

Stitchy is sponsoring the challenge over at http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.com/ that ends tonight.  I know I'm last minute, but what is a girl to do when she is stuck in bed sick for 2 days?  Hopefully I made the deadline in time.
Once again I decorated another composition book.  I love doing these.  This image is lil angel by Stitchy and you can get her HERE.  I used color pencils, oms and glitter.  I did this following a sketch from http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/.  I used a key for the challenge athttp://aliceinwonderlandchallenge.blogspot.com/.  I used fancy edges around the image for the challenge at http://fabnfunkychallenges.blogspot.com/.  I used an angel for the challenge at http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot.com/.

Here is what it looked like before I decorated it.

This also qualifies for the following challenges besides the ones mentioned....
http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/ - digi and bling ( i think my glitter counts, right)
http://stampsruschallenge.blogspot.com/ - anything but a card

Christmas In May

Over at http://sewmanychallenges.com/, their challenge is Christmas In May.  This is being sponsored by none other than Stitchy from Stitchy Bear Stamps.    I struggled with doing a Christmas card already.  I decided to go with Stitchy's Christmas Corner Stamp which you can get HERE
I colored the digi in with color pencil and oms.  I used green and red cardstock.  I used a 3D sticker and a peel off.  I did a little webbing on the cardstock for added texture.

Penny's Challenge #28

Over at http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.com/ they are having a shape challenge.  Well I think my cd qualifies.
I'm always saying whatever to my kids, so when I saw that Stitchy had this stamp named whatever I just had to have it.  I love doing altered cd's.  Now if you are interested in this stamp or any other by great creators, you can get them  HERE.  I mounted the stamp on mulberry paper and ripped around it.  I added a spirelli.

Altered Composition Book

I belong to two card groups that do swaps.  I am always forgetting what swaps I have still have to do and have done already.  So I did some thinking and came up with the idea to create my very own swap book.
My middle daughter is always bringing these home from school, so I have a ton of them.  I turned one of these into................
This was the finished project.  It was very easy to make.  I just covered the notebook with paper.  I colored in Stitchy's Home Tweet Home digi with color pencils and oms.  I then added a peel off border around the image and mounted it on some green fiber paper.  I printed out the "Tammy's Swap Book" in psp and colored it in with gel pens.  Again I added border peel offs around it.  I added a few butterfly and dragfly peel offs down the side and another border.  If you like Stitchy's image, you can get it here, along with many others.

Stitchy This Ones For You!

I think by now you can tell what my announcement is going to be.  I am now a design team member for http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.com/.  I don't officially start until the next challenge, but I wanted to do something when I made the announcement, so I made another creation to hang on my living room wall with the other creations.  I followed the challenge theme over at OSAAT
This is Stitchy's Flutter By stamp and can be purchased HERE.  I got this shadowbox and thought the hummingbird would look great in it.  The stamp is colored in with my color pencils and OMS.  I added a little glitter to give it a bit of a shimmer.  (Thanks Sam)  I inked around the edges of the stamp and mounted it on shiny pink paper.  I added 3 paper flowers in each corner. I also added 3 flowers at the top on the outside of the box.
This is the inside of the box.
This is the box as it hangs on my wall.

This creation fits in with the following challenges........
